Lights Out, Sailor!

Lights Out, Sailor! was my submission for the Dingle Animation Festival Stings. With "An Phiast gets a job" as the prompt, I decided to make him a lighthouse keeper.

​

I decided to go for a very graphic, triangular look for the mascot.

My choice of style meant I had to change the way I planned some shots as they just did not look right in a more flat style.

​

After the sting was pitched to dingle it was nominated for screening and went into production.
