RAIN

Rain was the film I created during my final year at ATU Donegal.

It is a short story about Sam moving to a new country and learning how to fit into an unfamiliar place.

What I enjoyed most about this project was designing the look of the characters and environment.

I wanted to go for a sketchy feel with colour reflecting Sam's mood.

One of the more challenging aspects was creating an expressive character who's facial expressions felt like they fit.

The design also made the animation take a little longer to ensure consistency and make the movements look appealing to the eye.
