Take the Road Less Travelled
Take the Road Less Travelled was a group project done by a team of 3 students and myself for the Smart Travel Student Awards.
We decided to divide the different tasks among each other, I was responsible for the vehicles and rough animation.
After deciding the style of our short,I helped start us off with a rough animatic of what the story should look like using the storyboards created.
We wanted to explore the advantages of cycling vs driving to college, as cars were the most common way for students to commute.
After the preproduction, I was mainly in charge of animating the cars and bicycle.
I also assisted with some cyclist animation, colour work and compositing the different pieces together.
The teams hard work paid off and the short was awarded 1st place in the animation category!
